These are just a selection on some of the venues I am designated to go to in my capacity as an adjudicator for the Victoria College of Music. This work takes me all over the UK although generally I remain in the North. When it is required of me, I travel outside the UK, Victoria College centres being spread throughout the World.

Warrington Centre, Lancashire.

This photo was taken as I was checking through student report forms during my lunch break.

At this Centre, as with many, there are often times when two adjudicators are required, due to the number of students entered. (The Victoria College of Music has 40 adjudicators throughout of UK). On this occasion I was adjudicating in conjunction with Mr John Chadwick, who, as well as being an adjudicator for the Victoria College of Music, is also a highly respected pianist.

His qualifications speak for themselves...John Chadwick: HonVCM, FVCM(Double Hons), FTCL, FLCM, LRAM, LRSM, LGSM (Triple), ARMCM, ARCM (Triple), LTSC.

It is with thanks to the work of the local Secretary, Mr Derek Broughton HonVCM FBIM FCV CT.VCM Hon ATO, (pictured centre)  whose constant work for the College over many years, has resulted in a thriving network of centres throughout the North West area. Also pictured with Mr Broughton are his assistants, Claire and Sarah, whose constant attention, in combination with a watchful eye from Mr Broughton keeps us, the adjudicators, working steadily and also keeps us supplied with copious amounts of tea, coffee and refreshments throughout the day!

Chester Centre

This gorgeous building is the Stanley Palace, built in 1571. The main venue for examinations in Chester.
