The piano rolls at Welte & Sons were recorded by Herbert Fryer on March 19, 1909. This date is proofed through dated piano rolls and the dated photo. The recording place is not yet known to us, but most probably, Welte made a tour with their recording equipment to England, because in March 1909, a lot of other British pianists (or pianists located there at this time) recorded rolls with Welte. (Keith, Charlton; Scott, Cyril Meir; Taylor, Colin; Webbe, Septimus; Margolies, Vera; Peppercorn, Gertrude; Cory, Lady Annie; Francklyn, Bernard; Bird, Henry Richard; Buhlig, Richard; Davies, Fanny; Haley, Edward).
